
Jeska Valk is an Award Winning Contemporary Artist, building a strong national profile through a consistent record of prestigious awards, finalist placements, and media recognition. Jeska has repeatedly been selected as a finalist in some of Australia’s most respected competitions, such as the Portia Geach Memorial Portrait Prize, the Evelyn Chapman Art Award and Ravenswood Art Prize, reflecting both critical acclaim and sustained excellence. Notably, her portrait practice has included prominent figures such as WA Senator, Fatima Payman, Lead Singer of Camp Cope, Georgia Maq, renowned Australian Fashion Designer, Megan Ziems, and First Nations leader Luther Cora and his daughter Tayvonne.
Her practice is further distinguished by significant media exposure and publications, with features across leading art and design magazines such as, Grand Designs Australia, and appearances on major television programs such as, Channel 9’s MY WAY, cementing her reputation as a dynamic and influential voice in the Australian art landscape.
